Planisphere computes and plots the local sky in real-time or for a fixed date.

The sky view is updated every 4 minutes which is roughly equivalent to a sky motion of 1 degree.

This application will fade out shortly, i.e. no new functions will be added, but bug fixes will be made.

All functions of Planisphere are now included in "Solunar".

If you own a tablet, please also consider the applications "Solunaero" or "AsteriaCoeli" or "Sky Atlas for Tablets", all of which include a planisphere.
